Hospitalsconsultants is a new online service which could prove a real boon to people struggling to get the medical treatment they need, when they need it. Founded by Dr Jean-Pascal Del Bano, a French expert in healthcare quality, this website lists over 40 quality medical establishments in England and France. Anyone aged 18 to 99 can search the site for the medical procedure they’d like to have. They’ll be given a list of hospitals which perform this procedure, and they simply pay a small fee to Hospitalsconsultants for putting them in touch with the hospital of their choice. Patients can pay for any treatment using private healthcare plans or insurance plans, but in some cases, the NHS may fund treatment too. Hospitals on the site have been chosen for their quality of care, such as the Stamford and Rutland Hospital, pictured below.

Hospitalsconsultants hospitals are in fact located all over England, in both large urban centres as well as in more rural locations, such as St Michael’s hospital, which is an NHS trust hospital sited in west Cornwall.
